About Namaqua Center

Our Mission

To provide psychological treatment to children with emotional and behavioral disorders resulting from extreme neglect and abuse. Through a full spectrum of programs, children and their families receive individualized, case-specific care to overcome the emotional trauma they have experienced, develop skills required for independent living within society and learn to break the cycle of abuse. Through community and volunteer interactions, Namaqua Center seeks to increase public awareness of youth physical, sexual and psychological abuses and to support our communities in learning to recognize the effects and prevent the occurrence of child abuse.

Safeguarding the future that every child deserves…

For more than thirty years, Namaqua Center has restored hope and a future for children statewide who have suffered severe neglect or physical/sexual abuse. Located in Loveland, CO, Namaqua Center has a long-held reputation among social service agencies for providing effective therapy to the child victims who need it most and is the first referral choice of many caseworkers in meeting the therapy needs of the most traumatized children and families.
