Namaqua Center needs your help to expand its community impact in educating families and preventing child neglect and abuse. As the leader of innovative community workshops such as Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, Namaqua Center has—through education—helped to prevent the abuse and neglect of children before its starts.

Namaqua Center's designation as a 501(c)(3) organization and Colorado's recent renewal of the Child Care Contribution Tax Credit, allows monetary donors to qualify for an income tax credit of 50% of their donation of up $100,000.

It's up to you to help Namaqua Center carry out and build upon its mission. Together, we can strengthen our community by eliminating child abuse and neglect.

The FYI Income 35 - Child Care Contribution Tax Credit allows you to take a full 50% of your contribution right off the top and still take advantage of your regular tax deductions.

A $5,000 donation could end up costing you only $339

With the extension of the FYI Income 35 - Child Care Contribution Credit through December 31, 2009, you may be eligible to claim a state income tax credit of 50% of your donation for this year. Thanks to HB 1119, the language has been changed to explicitly include all Residential Treatment Centers serving children ages 12 and under. Please consult your financial advisor regarding deductibility. Depending on your tax bracket, a $5,000 donation could end up only being $339 out of your pocket. This is only an example of how far your money can go toward helping a child in need. Any amount you wish to donate will work the same way and be greatly appreciated. Following is a chart to help you understand what a great opportunity this is. Not only for you as a donor but for the children at Namaqua Center.
